Infant Swimming Resource of Hendersonville (ISR) is the safest provider of survival swim lessons for children ages 6 months to 6 years. Our Self-Rescue® program teaches little ones how to roll onto their backs, float, and breathe independently if they fall into water. Lessons are one-on-one with certified instructors and backed by over 50 years of research, over 300,000 graduates, and hundreds of documented survival stories.
The most important layer of protection is always you. Supervision should be active, focused, and undistracted anytime your child is near water.
A four-sided fence with a self-locking gate adds a physical barrier between your child and the water. Keep it secure and clear of climbable objects.
Install alarms on all doors and windows that lead to the pool. Alarms alert you when a child enters the pool area or opens a gate.
ISR’s Self-Rescue® lessons teach your child how to float and breathe independently if they fall into water, providing an added layer of protection.
Be prepared for emergencies. Learn CPR for both children and adults and make sure your skills are up to date with regular practice.
Jets, bubbles, and warm water are enticing for young children. Always secure covers, limit access, and keep controls out of reach.
